American Hickory Spalted and Split Writing Desk

This is a beautiful American Hickory spalted and split Writing desk. The desk was a special order and it was requested that there be 2 bow ties utilized to catch the split. This is just a really cool and decorative way to save the wood from inevitably splitting into two pieces.
